REMANUFACTURING PROCESS
 STEP ONE : EVALUATION

Our Xerox Trained engineers thoroughly examine the printer. We inspect the electronic components and the mechanical assembly to identify any parts in need of replacement.

 STEP TWO : BREAKDOWN

The printer's outer skins, rollers, belts, transports and imaging components are stripped off and worn elements are replaced with OEM parts. The controller, image, input and output modules are individually disassembled down to the frame.

STEP THREE : REMANUFACTURE

After a thorough cleaning, the engineers replace or refurbish every component. Dry ink, developer and other contaminates are removed from all workings of the printer. Our team diagnostically tests and replaces all disk drives, electronic circuit boards, user interfaces and other elements. All transport assemblies are re-built and belts are replaced. The electro-mechanical workings of the printer are reassembled and the printer is made ready for staging and testing.

STAGE FOUR : PAINTING

The outer skins of the printer are prepared and painted with approved paints. Each panel is precision baked to resist chipping and insure durability.

STEP FIVE : STAGING

Our engineers install all requested features in our climate controlled staging area. The printer is leveled and every module is linked together for testing as a complete system.

 STEP SIX : TESTING

Full sys-gen and final diagnostic programs are run to insure operational integrity. Our engineers produce thousands of sample prints to guarantee the highest possible standards of operation. They examine print quality, software, laser calibration, font and feature installation.

STEP SEVEN : SHIPMENT

WPC employs moving companies that specialize in shipping sensitive computer equipment in custom, air-ride suspension vans. While in transit, your equipment is fully insured by West Products.
